  1) the process of making this design was i first looked into last years designs which i draw in paper and i recreated in Adobe illustrator.i again used the shape tool, and just like the circle design i overlapped the stars and layer them in order to create a 3D square and the repetition of stars makes it look good. i also use the drop shadow tool in order to give the deign more depth and more real. However by applying the colors from the palette gives the stars and design more depth and the dark blue and purple colors help contrast with the shadow to make it look better and visually appealing and the colors make the shapes pop out more and the pattern gives it repetition too.                .            2) the process of making this design was i first looked into last years designs which i draw in paper and i recreated in Adobe illustrator. i used the pen tool in order to create the curved lines and with the pen...

Recreating Repetition

1. the process of making this design was i first looked into last years designs which i draw in paper and i recreated in Adobe illustrator. i used the pen tool in order to create the curved lines and with the pen tool i could fill the inside of the curves with black making. also this art piece reminded me about a zebra because of its pattern and stripes and the process was fun because I made the stripes wavy and just fill some of the stripes in black.    2. the process of making this design was i first looked into last years designs which i draw in paper and i recreated in Adobe illustrator. i used the shape tool in order to make 3 lines in order to construct a triangle which is equal on all side called a  equilateral triangle. and made a pattern which shows Repetition and i used a new tool i never used before called "drop shadow" giving the triangle a shadow and more depth.    3. the process of making this design was i first looked into last years designs which...

My experience when making this project was interesting because I was very new to making a another page.I am only used to using one page for my indesign projects and using 2 is a very new experience giving me more room for creativity. the introduction into wrapping is very new to me.I never have thought I could "wrap" a picture with letters using a tool. This project opened up new ideas for me in graphic design. The first step i did o create my project is, I created 2 pages, and created 3 columns on each page and add placeholder text. second i found some picture i like, i followed the themes of animals finding funny cat and dog pictures. In order to wrap the pictures i first arranges the pictures to the Back of the placement holder text, i used the Text wrap panel (Cmd W) and used "wrap around object shape" and used detect edges which makes the text wrap around the pictures which is very cool and interesting. i also used principle of proportion because i made the c...
