Picasso Painting

 



My experience with this project was interesting and fun.Overtime, the project grew on me, i started enjoying creating the drawing using the brush tool on Adobe Photoshop. The Brush tool in Photoshop is a painting tool that lets you apply color to an image using strokes which can be accessed by pressing on "B" to select the brush tool.Reflecting on my brush technique in Adobe Photoshop, The brush tool in Photoshop allows me to experiment with texture, opacity, size, and pressure sensitivity. I use a variety of brushes depending on the colors of the painting. One important part of the brush tool for me is the sensitivity of my mouse is essential for achieving straighter stroke giving my work a hand-drawn feel because i have more control by lowering my sensitivity. when blending colors using the mixing brush helped me mix colors for a better real world color. For more abstract work or to add texture, I also use a textured brush or one that had dry or water color for a real brush pattern feel, which I find incredibly rewarding with the result of my project. I enjoy experimenting with different settings and brush dynamics to recreate artwork and the trial and error paid off.

About the Painting "Jacqueline" is an oil painting by Pablo Picasso, created in 1961. According to The New York Times described it as "a black, gray and white Cubist oil of Jacqueline Roque, Picasso's second wife. Interesting History about Jacqueline is that On February 28, 2007, the painting was stolen from the home of Picasso's granddaughter Diana Widmaier-Picasso. I like the painting because after i drew it, it helped me understand the work it took to create it and how good and talented of a artist Picasso was. and The Purpose of Creating the paint was to express important emotional aspects that Picasso expresses towards that individual.

Image File Formats

JPG is one of the most common image formats, widely used for photos and web images. It uses lossy compression , meaning some image quality is sacrificed to reduce file size, which works well for images like photographs where smaller files are important. PNG is a lossless format, meaning it keeps all the image details intact. It’s perfect for images that need transparency (like logos) or for any images that require sharp details, like icons or graphics. GIF is great for animations and simple graphics.
