Non-Destructive Image Adjustments
Color fill allows me top allows you to apply a solid color or gradient to an image without permanently altering the original pixels for example the purple color in he background looking like a tint.
Gradient fill allows allows you to apply a gradient to an image or layer without permanently altering the underlying pixels, for example i used it for a more dramatic look as the black is on the bottom.
Brightness/contrast allows you to non-destructively modify the overall brightness and contrast of an image or a specific layer without permanently altering the original pixels, for example i made everything else darker but the fire giving it more contrast.
curves allowing you to brighten, darken, add contrast, and shift colors without permanently altering the original pixels, for me i just made it darker because that all i knew how to use the tool.
levels allows you to correct the tonal range and color balance of an image by adjusting intensity levels of image shadows, midtones, and highlights. for me i made the fire more intensity and a better look.
exposure allows you to non-destructively adjust the overall brightness and darkness of an image, for example i increased the brightness of my overall image.
vibrance allows you to boost the saturation of less saturated colors, leaving highly saturated colors relatively untouched, which helps maintain a natural look, made the skin on ray lewis look more natural.
hue/saturation lets you modify the hue (color), saturation (intensity), and lightness of an image or specific color ranges without permanently altering the original pixels, i made the lightness darker.
color balance allows you to fine-tune the color balance of your image by adjusting the red, green, and blue values in different tonal ranges (shadows, midtones, and highlights) without permanently altering the original image ,i made the image more vibrant by using purple colors.
black and white is a non-destructive way to convert a color image to grayscale ,which is what i did to the image.
channel mixer allows you to modify a targeted color channel by mixing grayscale data from other channels
invert flips all the colors in an image, transforming them into their opposites, i flipped the colors.
threshold transforms an image into a high-contrast, black-and-white version by setting a brightness level as a threshold , looks like a project we did on Ai the self portrait one.
gradient map maps the tonal values (luminosity) of an image to the colors of a chosen gradient, i used it to turn mine into something like a grayscale.
